Pear Walnut Cake

It hit me. I had a craving for dessert and I wanted it fast. I wanted something that I could easily whip up using left over ingredients that I had in my kitchen. And then I found it. This Pear Walnut cake recipe courtesy of Tartelette. This cake took me about 10 minutes to whip up. It would be the perfect dessert for Easter this weekend.

 

 

The best thing about this recipe is that it tastes good AND it is somewhat healthy for you. This is due to one of the main ingredients olive oil, instead of butter

 

 

Olive oil has been touted as one of the healthiest fats on earth. The best type to use is extra virgin olive oil. It is extracted using natural methods and standardized for purity.
