Wondering how to juice without a juicer? Each and every ingredient in this all natural energy drink will have you skipping around like a toddler!

You want to wake up earlier without feeling exhausted and groggy.

You’re finding it difficult to make it through your day without the mid-afternoon crash.

You need to get more done, and wish you had just a bit more energy, hell a lot more energy to play with your kids when you get home from work.

You need energy and you need it NOW.

It’s all about eating for energy.

Flashy marketing has caused energy drinks to be the first thing most people think of when they’re tired or feel like their forehead is going to hit the keyboard. But these canned ‘solutions’ can wreak havoc on your health and can make your energy problem worse. These drinks are also lacking many of the benefits a natural energy drink can offer to boost your energy.

There’s a lot of crap in energy drinks like artificial flavors and colorings, not to mention excessive levels of caffeine, and tons of excess sugar. Some of them even contain stimulants you’ve never heard of that have barely been tested (but you didn’t hear that from me).

Yes, getting enough sleep is the best way to give your body the fuel that it needs but sometimes you need a little extra oomph.

Today I’m going to be sharing an all natural energy drink that contains tons of antioxidants and vitamins so that you can skip the additives, sugar and caffeine.

Instead of starting your day with a jolt of caffeine why not sip on something a little more nourishing and rejuvenating instead like a natural energy drink.

This juice recipe is as good for you as it is delicious, and can be enjoyed either as a wake-up drink when you feel like you need toothpicks to keep your eyes open or as an afternoon pick up.

No juicer? No problem. You can totally make this natural energy drink if you got a blender. Check out the video I did below to learn how to make juice using a blender!

Live nutrients and enzymes in juices and smoothies feed every cell in your body, while liquids from the fruits keep you hydrated, and that’s a far better method of staying awake and energetic than knocking back all those dehydrating coffees and energy drinks.

The great thing about juicing is that it goes right into your blood stream so you absorb the nutrients immediately. Whereas with a smoothie because it still has the pulp it takes your body longer to digest. This is part of the reason why this juice is an excellent natural energy drink to boost your energy.

Since the nutrients go into your body directly, unfortunately so does the baggage that comes along with some conventional produce, like pesticides. That’s why it’s HIGHLY recommend that you juice using organic fruits and vegetables.

A highly concentrated dose of nutrients is which is what helps to boost your energy. It also helps to give your digestive system a break.

Green juice also helps your body to cleanse and detox and increase your mental alertness.

Romaine

Okay so in the food world, the biggest celebrity of all might be kale while romaine is best supporting actor at best.

However, researchers at William Patterson University did a study where they compared different types of produce for vital nutrients.

Out of a score of 100 Romaine scored 63 while kale scored 49!

Romaine is really rich in folate, which is best known for fertility and pregnant women, however it’s also important in energy production and also helps to improve your mood.

Cucumber is extremely hydrating and one of the first signs of dehydration is fatigue. Cucumbers are about 95% water which makes this veggie the perfect choice in this natural energy drink to help flush toxins out of your body while delivering powerful nutrients to keep you hydrated and energized.

Celery like cucumber celery is about 95% water so will also keep you hydrated. People really underestimate dehydration and how this can affect your energy levels. Celery is highly cleansing and alkalizing for your body. It’s rich in an abundance of nutrients like vitamin A, vitamin B6, vitamin C and Vitamin K.

Vitamin K is important for a lot of things but the thing you’d probably like most is that it keeps your skin looking firm and youthful. That can also help on those days that you’re looking tired and run down.

Beets are what’s going to give us some sweetness in this juice but they are also purifying and great for your liver. Beet are great for detoxifying the body – perfect if you’re feeling sluggish after a night out of drinking. Beets will also make sure that the toxins actually make it out of your body. They also increase blood flow throughout your body which will help increase your energy.

Green apples are high in B vitamins and iron which will help to increase your energy.

Jalepeno peppers contain a chemical known as capsaicin, which is actually what gives peppers their hot properties. This is also what helps with weight loss. Many people don’t know but they’re also high in Vitamin C.

Ginger in this natural energy drink will not only boost your immune system by warding off those colds but it helps to increase circulation in the body and blood flow to the brain which helps you to feel more alert.

Parsley is super high in that Vitamin K that’s going to keep your skin looking youthful and also helps with appetite control.

Lemon and other citrus fruits like limes and grapefruits have powerful detoxing capabilities which will help give you a boost of energy. They also have a high water content which makes them the perfect ally for flushing toxins and unwanted substances from your body. They also fill your body with Vitamin C.

Now doesn’t this natural energy drink sound much better for you than that canned crap?

I hope you enjoy the recipe below and have discovered some new foods to boost your energy naturally.
